If you’re a Pinterest user already, you will understand that to stand out your pins needs to be visually pleasing and eye-catching. Creating a Pinterest opt-in is no different, and once you have chosen the value behind your opt-in, you need to make it look great.

STEP 1. Creating a Pinterest Opt-in template.

The first step is to add your opt-in to relevant pins and create pins from scratch. To attract your ideal client it’s important to create an opt-in Pinterest pin that fits their style.
You can create a pin in Photoshop, Canva or any online design program. And choose one of their templates and customize it.

TIP: Make sure to use an overlay text in your design where it’s clear what you are offering. You can even add a circle with a call to action.

TIP: Create multiple versions of your pin and change the layout, call to action and imagery. And test what resonates best with your ideal client.

STEP 2. Add a keyword description to your Pins.

- A clear call to action.
- A bit about you and what you do.
- For who is this pin made.
- Keywords.
- Hashtags

Start your description by telling the reader who this opt-in is made for and how they can receive it. Tell them a bit about yourself and finish with Pinterest hashtags. Don’t forget to include keywords in your description.

STEP 3. Adding the link.

Your pins are almost ready to be spread on your boards. But before you click schedule you need to add a link to your opt-in landing page.

STEP 4. It’s time to Pin.

Your pins are ready to be pinned. Make sure you spread them on multiple relevant boards and your group boards. Create a board where you will pin only your opt-in offer.

TIP: Head over to your analytics once a week and check how your pins are growing. Re-pin the best-performing ones. And if you want to grow quicker create Pinterest ads from your best performing opt-in pins.
